Picture makes pin look misaligned, but it's not, it's because of the way the piece was positioned on the scanner. The pin consists of two separate layers, articulated together, the triangular pieces are mounted above the background, giving the piece a pillowed effect. Not sure what this silver colored metal pin is symbolic for, but it's well made, and ornate in construction - even the back side of pin is scrolled with design. I at first thought it was a Miracle pin or a take off of the older Scottish agate pins, but it is not marked, and costume in construction. Measures 2 inches. Very good condition, unmarked. |
